A Poetry Evening «Love in Every Word» Held in Baku

On March 28, an open poetry mic titled «Love in Every Word» was held at the New Zeon venue, organized jointly by New Zeon and the literary project «Modern Poems».

The evening brought together poets and admirers of the written word, creating an open space for self-expression.

The event opened with remarks by Telman Gurbanov, who spoke about New Zeon’s dynamic activities, including its creative and social initiatives aimed at supporting young people and fostering the cultural environment. This was followed by a speech by Lala Hasanova, head of the literary project «Modern Poems», a member of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union and the World Organization of Writers (WOW).

During the event, 34 participants took the stage, presenting both original works and poetry by renowned classical authors. The poems were performed in four languages — Azerbaijani, Russian, English, and Spanish — highlighting the cultural richness and openness of the evening.

The event was attended by cultural figures, media representatives, and international guests.

The poetry evening became a space where words transformed into a voice of emotion, and the sincerity of each performance resonated with the audience.

The organizers — New Zeon and the literary project «Modern Poems» — plan to continue developing such initiatives aimed at supporting and promoting young creative talents.
