An event dedicated to National Sovereignty and Children’s Day was held at Baku State University (BSU), jointly organized by the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Yunus Emre Institute in Baku.
BSU Vice-Rector Alish Agamirzayev highlighted the strong brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, noting the role of universities in strengthening cultural and academic ties through exchanges and joint initiatives.
Coordinator of the Yunus Emre Institute in Baku, Gokhan Seyhan, emphasized the significance of April 23 as a symbol of national sovereignty and a unique holiday dedicated to children.
The event also featured workshops on traditional arts such as ebru and calligraphy, with active participation from students and faculty members.
