The Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2026 volunteer programme has closed with record demand, attracting 49,000 applications in just three days.
This marks the highest number of applications in the history of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, compared to 16,000 in 2024 and 31,000 last year.
The 2026 race marks the 10th anniversary of Formula 1 in Baku, driving strong interest in the volunteer programme.
Applicants will be assessed on motivation, communication skills, and teamwork ability. Successful candidates will proceed to interviews and training at the BCC Academy before supporting race week operations.
