Baku State University (BSU) is being showcased at the Azerbaijan Pavilion during the QS Higher Ed Summit: Europe 2026, held in Budapest, Hungary.
The summit brings together university leaders, government officials, higher education experts, and representatives of international organizations from around the world to discuss key issues shaping the future of higher education, including internationalization, research and innovation, artificial intelligence in education, university-industry collaboration, and global rankings.
The Azerbaijan Pavilion serves as a platform to promote the country’s higher education system internationally, highlight the educational and research potential of Azerbaijani universities, foster new academic partnerships, and strengthen global engagement.
At the pavilion, BSU presents its academic programs, research achievements, international projects, innovation ecosystem, and recent successes in global rankings. University representatives are holding meetings with higher education institutions, international organizations, and partner institutions to explore new areas of cooperation.
BSU recently strengthened its international standing by ranking 565th in the QS World University Rankings 2027.
Participation in the Azerbaijan Pavilion contributes to expanding BSU’s global academic network, establishing new strategic partnerships, and enhancing the university’s international visibility. The meetings and discussions held during the summit are expected to support the development of joint research initiatives and further increase BSU’s global competitiveness.
